EARLY EXPLORERS PARENT/CHILD SERIES

It's never too early to start learning about animals! Bring your camper to Busch Gardens for these one day, preschool camps to explore a different animal topic every camp. Multiple sessions are offered each month, so choose the date that best suits you. Each 2 hour program includes a snack, crafts, animal encounters, and story time.

Focus: Animals come in many colors
Description:

Most people can think of green reptiles and green birds, but what about green mammals? Believe it or not, some mammals can turn green (with the help of some foliage friends). Learn all about the ways some animals use their special green coloring to hide from the most persistent of predators, while meeting some of these animals up close.
Campers will also create a cool craft and hear a story about critter coloration during this 2 hour course.

 
EXPLORING ANIMAL LOVE
FEBRUARY

February 2nd & 14th
Focus: Courtship behaviors of animals
Description:

On Valentine's Day we give our loved ones candy, cards and flowers. But how do animals impress the ones they love? Male animals have some pretty peculiar ways of getting a females' attention. From the fluffing of feathers to vibrant vocalizations, these boys will stop at nothing to get noticed. Learn all about the ways that our resident animal ambassadors croon and swoon, while meeting some of these animals up close.
Campers will also create a cool craft and hear a story about animal greetings and courtship during this 2 hour course.

Focus: Animal Diets
Description:

We all love snack time but what snacks to animals love to eat? Learn all about the different foods that some of our animal residents like the best, while meeting some of these animals up close.
Campers will also create a cool craft and hear a story about animal food during this 2 hour course.

 
EXPLORING ANIMAL FAMILIES
APRIL

April 13th & 25th
Focus: Different family-types in the animal world
Description:

What is it like to be a member of an animal family? Come be part of the flock (or the pack) as you discover the many family types in the animal world.
Campers will also create a cool craft and hear a story about an animal family during this 2 hour course.

 
EXPLORING FABULOUS FROGS

Focus: Amazing Facts about Frogs
Description:

What animal swims as a baby and hops as an adult? What can be smaller than a marble or bigger than a dinner plate? What comes in colors from dull brown & green to bright blue and yellow? Come explore and have fun as you and your preschooler learn about these amazing amphibians!
