Here are just some of the experiences:


  • Work alongside experienced zookeepers in select zoo areas or shadow the veterinary team
  • Plan and present your specialized field project
  • Discuss career topics such as animal care, behavior management, exotic animal nutrition and conservation issues with zoo professionals
  • Snorkel with fish and swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove
  • And, of course, enjoy all the amazing rides, shows and attractions of Busch Gardens and the "splashtastic" fun of Adventure Island water park

Returning Zookeeping 201 campers may enroll in this camp for a more in-depth experience in one zoo area.
